80s Music mp3 Downloads

How easy is it to find 80s music mp3 downloads? Anyone? Anyone?

The selection of songs in legal downloading sites is rising astronomically at a rate proportional to lawsuits against illegal downloaders! SO BE SURE TO CHECK OUT those AUTHENTIC SITES.

But definitely not during the 80s - I wish! That would have been a dream come true. I think only Ferris Bueller could think of a way to get them back then...

Today? Are you kidding? Probably easier than it was when the outlawed version of Napster was in existence.

Finding music mp3s to download from the 80's is as easy as to dowload latest music.

Most popular tunes from the 80s can be found on all the networks - legal and peer-to-peer (p2p).

I just know that you share the same passion with me to obtain virtually any song from the 80s that we could not obtain back in the day (well, our parents were broke!).

We don't have to record a lousy version from a friend anymore! We can just pay 99 cents, or a monthly subscription and download the ones we want! Pretty reliable, right? How much did it cost back then to buy just the single? About $2? Maybe more? Thank heavens for mp3s!

So what is a good formula to follow when trying to do get 80s music mp3 downloads?

Contrast and compare music downloads programs! First start with the legal networks. A thorough discussion regarding legal music downloads may be found here.

If you want to download a few 80s downloads - i.e., less than 10 per month, you should first start with wal-mart.com. All individual downloads are $0.88 each, and there are tons of songs from the 80's.

What about getting 80s music mp3 downloads from iTunes?

If you cannot find the song you're looking for and you still want to download a few songs per month, then use iTunes.

Other reasons for using iTunes:

- you want to transfer your song to iPod
- you use a Mac computer

NOTE: Only iTunes songs are compatible with iPod. If you want your wal-mart downloads to be played on iPod players, you need to burn them (copy on to CD), and then import them to the free iTunes jukebox. For more details read the full iTunes review before you get 80s music mp3 downloads.

If you plan to download many 80s music mp3 downloads - i.e., more than 10 per month - with few or no burns, then it would be best to look into Napster, who is legit now, or Rhapsody. You can download an unlimited number of songs from between $9.95 to $14.99 per month. Apple's iPod rules also apply to these two networks (and all other legal networks except iTunes). Try each free trial to see which one is the best for you.

The above four, plus MusicNow, are the only companies worth considering for 99 cent music downloads (or less).

What if you cannot find 80s music mp3 downloads on the totally legal sites?

This is where you may need to try the peer-to-peer sites, or obtain a hard-copy version of the song - i.e., by the CD online or go to your favorite record store.

If you are sure you will be able to buy the song at your record store, i.e., on a CD, then DO NOT download it from the p2p site. That is unless you obtain permission from the songwriter(s) or label to do so. Otherwise, you could be in trouble.

You may find a thorough discussion regarding peer-to-peer programs here.

Other than that, you may be OK to download the song from p2p networks. The ones where you have to pay a one-time fee will have a plethora of 80s music mp3 downloads. But watch out for the scams. To date that there only four p2p networks worth considering to compare music downloads. All are inferior to the legal networks above, but you can use them if you wish in the suggested manner above. You will find a link to those four here.

OK... back to the legal networks. The five totally legal networks that are considered to be the golden standard digital music services follow. Compare each one to determine the best for you, not only just for 80s music mp3 downloads but also to download latest music online.

Rhapsody
iTunes
Napster
wal-mart.com

You will find a detailed review on each site. You may want to follow the formula above as a guide. Doing so may have you downloading songs faster than Samuel L. Jackson can say "A Flock of Seagulls" (I think he missed the "A" part in that movie...).

So have it a go. Until then, happy 80s music mp3 downloads hu-hu-hu...h-h-hunting!
