The legal issue of file-sharing has notoriously blossomed since shortly after the invention of the mp3 in the late 1990's.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), starting in 2003, brought lawsuits to several users who illegally download and upload, songs on the internet. It is the consensus of current U.S. Federal statutes that downloading and uploading copyrighted music from a P2P site is like shoplifting from a cd store. So in no case should you try to download songs whereby you did not receive permission beforehand.

Users of KaZaa, Grokster, Limewire and Bearshare are continuing to be subject to punishment from their national governments. Very soon, places such as Mexico, China, India, Russia and South America will be targeted with illegal downloading use of these four useless networks. Could it be that users could receive jail time in these countries? Quite possibly.

What to do? Don't fall prey to those networks subject to legal scrutiny. Save yourself alot of hastle and DO NOT download those networks to your computer. If you do have these installed already then do yourself a favor if it is not past your bedtime and uninstall them immediately and delete ALL files shared by them (NOTE: no need to do this for paid services). Then do a virus/ adware search (don't use the free removals, they won't remove anything).

Write down a list of all files deleted so you can download them the right way from one of the recommended p2p music downloads programs.


3) Much better quality, features and download speeds.
